The front bumper cover must be cut for winch cable access, and the mount is set up for synthetic rope winches only.
On a 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD, this 7-gauge steel tray mounts out of sight behind the factory bumper cover, with a winch control extension harness included so the controller lands somewhere you can reach. Minor trimming is needed at the fairlead and the D-ring mounts, and the bumper cover itself has to be cut for cable access — this is not a reversible bolt-on. Rough Country engineered it around the PRO9500S and PRO12000S; other manufacturers' winches are not guaranteed to fit, and cable winches are out entirely. Shipping weight is 158.3 lb.
