The piggyback pair for the current Ranger — a larger body and more oil capacity than the plain rear shock on the same truck, and supplied as a pair rather than singly.

Coverage is the Ford Ranger from 2019-2023 in XL, XLT and Lariat trim. This is the upper option in ICON's rear damping for the truck: a 2.5 in body with a piggyback reservoir, against the no-reservoir shock listed separately. Heat is what makes damping fade on sustained rough going, and reservoir capacity is the answer to it. 22 lb boxed for the pair, with a downloadable installation guide available.
