Rough Country 74531 is a 3-inch lift kit for compatible 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma 4WD trucks, built around a loaded strut pair matched to the application. It clears tires up to 33 inches and requires minor cutting during installation. It does not fit 5-lug wheel models, T/X Baja, or TRD Pro trucks.
This 3-inch lift kit for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma 4WD ships as a two-piece kit: the 745 strut kit box and a loaded strut pair valved for this application. Front height comes up to sit closer to level with the rear, and the setup makes room for tires as large as 33 inches. Minor cutting is required, and the rest is bolt-on with an estimated 2-4 hour installation. Trucks with a two-piece rear driveshaft should also run a carrier-bearing drop bracket. Check the exclusion list, then work from the downloadable Rough Country installation guide.
