The kit is built around Vertex 2.5 shocks front and rear, a front coil, a block and U-bolt package, and radius arm drop brackets. It does not fit F-350, gas-engine, or dually trucks.
This 4.5-inch lift kit for the 2011-2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4WD raises the front to sit level with the rear and opens up ground clearance for larger tires. Two Vertex 2.5 front shocks and two Vertex 2.5 rear shocks handle damping at the new ride height, while the radius arm drop brackets keep caster where it belongs for factory-like steering feel. The fabricated blocks and no-overload U-bolt package handle the rear. Trucks with a two-piece rear driveshaft also need a carrier bearing drop bracket.
