Models equipped with pulse vacuum hub (PVH) port routed through the knuckle will need to be converted to manual hubs. An upgraded drive shaft is HIGHLY recommended such as SKU: 5089.1. A torsion bar tool is required for installation such as SKU: 1067. Specialty tools may be required for models equipped with vacuum operated hubs. This 5-inch lift kit for the 1998-2011 Ford Ranger 4WD and its Mazda B3000 and B4000 counterparts raises the front to match the rear and adds ground clearance. Front hardware covers a crossmember, lifted knuckles, skid plate, torsion drop brackets, sway links, and extended brake lines; the rear side brings a crossmember, anti-wrap blocks, U-bolts, bump stops, and U-bolts hardware. Upper control arm cam bolts simplify the alignment afterward. A torsion bar tool is needed for the job, an upgraded drive shaft is strongly advised, and Rough Country lists 6-8 hours for installation.
