Rough Country 49230 is a 6-inch lift kit for 1999 Ford F-250, F-250 Super Duty, and F-350 Super Duty 4WD models in XL, XLT, and Lariat trim. Front and rear leaf springs, a universal U-bolt kit, a pitman arm, and N3 shocks front and rear make up the package. It does not fit V-8 gas engine trucks, dually trucks, or trucks built on or after 3-1-1999.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 1999 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 4WD replaces the leaf springs at both ends rather than stacking spacers, so the front comes up level with the rear and ground clearance goes up with it. Damping comes from two N3 shock pairs valved for this application. Check the build date and engine before ordering: V-8 gas and dually trucks are outside the fitment, and a 2-piece rear driveshaft calls for a carrier bearing drop bracket that is not part of this kit.
