The body is a 2-inch seamless extruded tube and the piston is a 46mm digressive design, which holds body control on rough ground while staying compliant over small stuff. Supplied with the coil already loaded.
A digressive piston is the interesting part here. It gives firmer damping at low shaft speeds, where body roll and pitch live, then eases off at high speed so a sharp edge does not come through the seat. Paired with a 2-inch seamless extruded tube, that is a noticeably more capable strut than the standard loaded pair on the same vehicle. It still arrives with the coil pre-loaded, so installation is unchanged.
