Each shock uses a 46mm monotube body with an external reservoir and internal floating piston, a 2-inch seamless extruded tube, a 2-inch digressive piston, and a 16mm centerless-ground, case-hardened and chromed rod. Digressive valving handles rebound and compression independently as the surface changes. Zinc-plated finish and vulcanized natural rubber bushings address corrosion and noise.
