These M1R monotube rear shocks fit the 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 in 4WD and RWD form and the 1994-2002 Ram 3500 in 4WD. The design pairs a 46mm monotube body and external reservoir with an internal floating piston, so heat sheds faster under load. A 2-inch digressive piston handles rebound and compression independently as the surface changes, and the 16mm case-hardened, chromed rod rides in a 2-inch seamless extruded tube with a zinc-plated finish. Vulcanized rubber bushings damp noise at the mounts. Rough Country lists the install at 1-2 hours.
