Rough Country 23141_I is a pair of N3 rear shocks for Chevrolet Suburban applications running 4-5.5 inches of suspension lift. Stock-height and other lift heights are outside this fitment. Sold as a set of two, with a 10-stage variable valving design and nitrogen charging to hold damping consistent on longer runs.
These N3 rear shocks cover the Chevrolet Suburban 2014-2020 in 4WD and RWD, the Suburban 1500 2000-2014 in 4WD, AWD, and RWD, and the Suburban 3500 HD 2016-2019 in 4WD, across the trims listed in the fitment section. The critical qualifier is lift height: the vehicle must already carry 4-5.5 inches of suspension lift. Each shock uses a 35mm piston in a 54mm body on a chromed 18mm rod, with military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius. Typical install time is 1-2 hours.
