These N3 rear shocks for the 1969-1983 Jeep CJ5 and 1976-1986 Jeep CJ7 4WD suit Base, Renegade, Laredo, Limited, and Golden Eagle trims, plus the CJ7 Golden Hawk. They apply only to vehicles with 5.5-7 in of existing suspension lift. Each shock uses 10-stage variable valving, a nitrogen charge to limit fade on long descents, a 35mm piston in a 54mm body for heat shedding, and an 18mm chromed rod rated at 36kN tensile strength. Fluid is rated to -40 degrees Celsius. Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours. Coverage: 3 Year Limited Warranty.
