This N3 front shock pair covers 4WD Jeep models from the 1972-1990 era, including CJ5 and CJ7 (Base through Renegade and Golden Eagle), the Scrambler, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, plus J10 and J20 trucks. The shocks use 10-stage variable valving with a nitrogen charge, a 35mm piston, a chromed 18mm rod and a 54mm body, plus rubber bushings and military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius. Rough Country lists the job at 1-2 hours. Note the lift requirement: these are valved for rigs with 0.5-3 inches of suspension lift, not stock-height vehicles.
