These N3 rear shocks cover 1972–1990 Jeep Wagoneer, 1984–1990 Grand Wagoneer, 1974–1988 J10 and 1974–1987 J20 models in 4WD, and they are limited to vehicles with 0-1 in of suspension lift — taller setups need a different length. The N3 damper uses 10-stage variable valving with a 35mm piston and an 18mm chromed rod inside a 54mm body, nitrogen charged to hold damping consistent on rough ground. The kit ships as one N3 shock pair; Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours.
