These V2 monotube rear shocks for the 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 4WD cover Base through Z71 and Z85 trims on the Chevrolet side and SL through SLT on the GMC side, as listed in the fitment section. The monotube body uses an internal floating piston to keep gas and oil separated, and a 46mm high-flow piston moves more fluid for quicker damping response. The brushed T6061 aluminum housing sheds heat and resists corrosion, and the inverted mounting orientation keeps the shaft away from trail debris. Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours.
