The front half of Skyjacker's Rock Ready pairing for the 1987-1995 Wrangler, rated at 4 in. of lift and sold as one spring. The YJ runs leaf springs at both ends, which is exactly why front and rear are separate part numbers with different rates — the front carries the engine and the rear carries whatever you put in it. Shipping weight is 36 lb.

Rock Ready is the name Skyjacker puts on its more articulation-minded springs, and this is the front one for the 1987-1995 Wrangler at 4 in. of lift. On a leaf-sprung YJ, the front pack is doing a different job from the rear: it holds up a cast-iron six and steers, so its rate and arc are not interchangeable with the rear part even though the two look similar in a photograph. It is one spring per box at 36 lb, so a complete front axle takes two. Check the shackle and bushing hardware while the old pack is off.
