Unlike the front-only version, 87000 lifts both ends of a 2007-2021 Tundra 4WD: upper strut extensions with adjustable shim plates up front, 1.5-inch lift blocks and U-bolts at the rear. Differential mounting spacers, skid plate spacers, and bump stops are in the box as well. Pro Series and XSP-X models are excluded. Rough Country estimates 3-4 hours.
Adjustability is the reason to pick this one. Shim plates in the front strut spacer let you dial the lift within the 2.5-3 inch range instead of accepting a single fixed height, which matters when you are matching a particular tire or trying to hold a specific rake. The rear takes 1.5-inch blocks and new U-bolts so the truck does not end up sitting nose-high. Differential and skid plate spacers ride along to keep the front CV axle angle sane. Fitment is 4WD Tundra only, 2007 through 2021, with Pro Series and XSP-X trucks left out.
