Models equipped with cast aluminum or cast steel lower control arms will use the upper strut plates during the installation process. Stamped Steel models WILL require strut disassembly for the installation of the supplied pre-load spacer. Strut replacement kit SKU: 1319 will NOT use upper strut plates on models equipped with stamped steel lower control arms. 2.5-Inch Lift Kit with N3 Struts, fitment-checked
A 2.5-inch front lift for 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups, supplied with N3 loaded leveling struts. What you install depends on your lower control arms: cast aluminum and cast steel trucks use the upper strut plates, while stamped steel trucks need the strut taken apart to fit the pre-load spacer. It does not fit 2014-2018 Denali or Denali Ultimate models, or trucks with the eAssist package.
Coverage runs across 2007-2018 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 in 4WD, RWD, and AWD, from WT and base trims up through LTZ and High Country. The N3 struts arrive loaded, and replacement blocks take over from the factory units at the rear. Check your lower control arms first — cast aluminum and cast steel trucks use the supplied upper strut plates, while stamped steel trucks do not and instead need the strut disassembled for the pre-load spacer.
