Requires cutting and grinding. This kit fits models with both cast steel or aluminum factory control arms. Please use our 3.5" knuckle kit. To ensure proper fit please confirm if the stock control arms are cast aluminum cast steel or stamped steel. New lift block replaces the factory equipped block. To ensure adequate clearance when lowering the differential models equipped with a mass damper on the front differential must be removed. Models retaining factory wheels are advised to run no wider than a 11.5" wide tire. Fitment on this page is based on the manufacturer’s application data.

3.5-Inch Lift Kit with Vertex 2.5 Shocks, fitment-checked
The Vertex build of the 3.5-inch 4WD lift for 2007–2016 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500: two adjustable Vertex 2.5 front shocks, two Vertex 2.5 rear shocks, and forged upper control arms rated for 2.5 to 3.5 inches. Cutting and grinding are required, and factory control arms must be cast steel or cast aluminum.
Four Vertex 2.5 units ship with this kit — an adjustable pair for the front and a matched pair for the rear — alongside forged upper control arms with pre-pressed ball joints. Coverage runs 2007–2016 on Silverado 1500 4WD and Sierra 1500 in 4WD and AWD, plus 2010–2015 GMC Sierra. Stamped steel factory control arms are not supported; the knuckle kit handles those trucks. Expect cutting and grinding, plan to remove the front-differential mass damper if present, and keep tire width at 11.5 inches or less on factory wheels.
