Requires cutting and grinding. This kit fits models with both cast steel or aluminum factory control arms. Please use our 3.5" knuckle kit. To ensure proper fit please confirm if the stock control arms are cast aluminum cast steel or stamped steel. For a visual please click here. New lift block replaces the factory equipped block. To ensure adequate clearance when lowering the differential models equipped with a mass damper on the front differential must be removed. Models retaining factory wheels are advised to run no wider than a 11.5" wide tire. For additional clearance on models equipped with aggressive side wall tires or to retain factory wheels a 0.25" wheel spacer will be required SKU: 1065. Rough Country 19431A raises 2007–2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD trucks 3.5 inches, using forged control arms with pre-pressed POM ball joints and differential drops that hold axle angles in line. It fits trucks with cast steel or aluminum factory control arms only — CV axle boot clearance rules out stamped steel arms.
Fitment spans 2007–2016 Silverado 1500 4WD and 2007–2016 Sierra 1500 in 4WD and AWD, plus 2010–2015 GMC Sierra. Factory control arm material decides whether this kit is the right one: cast steel and cast aluminum work, stamped steel does not. Installation requires cutting and grinding, a fabricated block replaces the factory lift block, and any mass damper on the front differential must come off. Trucks staying on factory wheels should keep tire width at 11.5 inches or under. Denali models from 2014–2016 and eAssist trucks are excluded.
