Rough Country 53001 shields the catalytic converter on 2015–2026 Ford F-150 trucks, 4WD and RWD, with 14-gauge powder-coated steel. Read the lift limits first: it works on stock-height trucks and on lifts up to 3.5-inches, but not with the drop crossmembers used in 4-inch and 6-inch kits. Tremor and PowerBoost models are excluded.
Start with the fitment limits on this one. The shield covers 2015–2026 Ford F-150 trucks from XL to Limited, plus the Police Responder and SSV applications, but only at stock height or with up to 3.5-inches of lift, and not on trucks carrying the drop crossmembers found in 4-inch and 6-inch kits. Tremor and PowerBoost models are not supported either. Where it does fit, 14-gauge steel bolts on with no cutting or welding, powder coating keeps rust off the panel, and a downloadable installation guide is available.
