Choosing a kit
Bronco lift kits, and which Bronco you have
Two very different trucks share this name, and a lift kit for one will not go near the other. The Broncos built last century are body-on-frame with a beam front axle, and their kits are built around coil springs and add-a-leafs at the rear. The current Bronco is the first with independent front suspension, which is why what fits it is measured at 2 to 2.5 inches rather than in the numbers an old one will swallow.
On the current truck the package matters as much as the year. Broncos that left the factory with the Sasquatch setup already sit higher on larger tires, so a kit written for a base truck can put one somewhere its shocks and upper control arms were never meant to go. Every kit here is matched to Ford's application data, and each product page prints the trims and packages the manufacturer excludes. The list runs to 30 kits.
