LED light bars: length is not the spec that matters
A light bar is bought by the inch and judged by the beam pattern. A long bar of pure flood lights the hedgerow and nothing beyond it; a short spot reaches far down the trail and leaves the edges dark. Combo bars run spot optics in the middle and flood at the ends, which is why most people end up with one.
Curved bars suit a curved roofline and spread light wider. Straight bars are easier to mount low. Single-row is slimmer and less draggy; double-row is brighter and heavier. Every bar needs a relay and a fuse, not a wire spliced into the ignition.

30 InchWhere the bar mounts, and what that costs you
Roof mounting throws light furthest and reflects off your own hood in fog and dust. Bumper and grille mounting stays under the reflection and reaches less far. Windshield mounts sit between the two and are the most vehicle-specific bracket you can buy: a bar that fits your truck may foul the hood on the model year either side.
Covers are worth having for road use, and in many states are required. We stock 270 light bar parts from 5 brands, with manufacturer exclusions shown on each product page.
