One pitman arm, two lift ranges. On the 1978–1979 Ford Bronco and F-150 it covers 3in to 6in of lift; on the Jeep side — Cherokee, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, J10, and J20 — the window is 2.5in to 4in. Either way the vehicle must have power steering. The arm keeps drag link alignment in line, holds the factory turning radius, and cuts down on steering vibration.

Two fitment stories share one part number. Ford coverage is the 1978–1979 Bronco and F-150 in 4WD, on 3in to 6in of suspension lift. Jeep coverage is wider — Cherokee from 1976 through 1983, J20 through 1983, J10 and Wagoneer through 1986, and the 1984–1985 Grand Wagoneer — but the lift window tightens to 2.5in through 4in. Power steering is required across the board; manual steering vehicles are outside the fitment. Once it is on, the drag link returns to a workable angle, turning radius stays near stock, and steering vibration drops. Budget 2-3 hours.
