Forged aluminum upper control arms in a red finish for the 2009-2020 Ford F-150 in 4WD and AWD. The forging carries no welds, so there are no seams to become the failure point, and the POM ball joints give more articulation than the factory arms allow. Grease the ball joint before the first drive.
Factory upper arms limit how far the suspension can move before the ball joint binds, which is the ceiling you hit first when a truck is lifted. These are forged from aluminum in one piece with POM ball joints, which swing through a wider arc and go together more easily than a pressed joint. The red finish is the only difference from the standard version. One step people skip: grease the ball joint before it turns a wheel.
