This vibration or shutter exist due to the design of the motor and differential mounts and is inherent in the vehicle. This vibration or shutter may be more pronounced after a leveling kit is installed due to additional torque from modified driveshaft angles. This does not indicate a problem but should be a consideration prior to installation. Fitment on this page is based on the manufacturer’s application data.

Rough Country 395.23 raises the front of a 2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD by 2.5 inches to trim the factory rake. The kit ships with loaded N3 leveling struts that reuse the OEM coil springs and carry application-specific velocity-sensitive valving. It does not fit Mega Cab trucks, which use 2500-based frame and suspension hardware.
This 2.5-inch leveling kit for the 2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD covers ST, SXT, SLT, Sport, Laramie, and TRX4 configurations, and it corrects the nose-down factory stance rather than lifting the whole truck. The N3 leveling struts arrive loaded, so the front end goes together as a bolt-on swap with the stock coil springs retained and ride quality kept close to original. Mega Cab trucks are excluded. Note that the front-end shudder some unlifted Ram trucks show under hard acceleration can become more noticeable once driveshaft angles change.
