Rough Country 76040 is a 3-inch lift kit for the 2003–2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007–2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser in 4WD and RWD. It pairs M1 loaded front struts with an M1 monotube rear shock pair and a 3-inch rear coil set. It does not fit X-REAS-equipped vehicles or Pro series models.

This 3-inch lift kit for the 2003–2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007–2014 FJ Cruiser bolts on with factory mounting points and raises the front to sit level with the rear for added tire and trail clearance. The front half of the package arrives as M1 loaded struts, so no spring compressor work is needed, and the M1 monotube rear shocks use recoil cut-off internals paired with the supplied 3-inch rear coils.
