Rough Country 97770 pairs a 3-inch lift for the 2020-2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD with two pairs of V2 monotube shocks, so the damping comes matched in the box rather than chosen separately. Fits only trucks with a rear overload spring; dually, AT4X, and ZR2 trucks are excluded.
Shock choice is already made on this 3-inch lift kit for the 2020-2026 Silverado and Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD: two V2 monotube shock pairs cover both axles, alongside forged upper control arms with ball joints pressed in and the main lift box with overload-spring provisions. Differential drop brackets keep axle angles closer to stock for driveline life. Nothing gets cut during the bolt-on install, and the setup can be undone to factory height later. Verify the rear overload spring first, and rule out dually, AT4X, and ZR2 trucks, whose 1.5-inch factory lift and Multimatic DSSV dampers fall outside this application.
