Rough Country 24730 is a 5-inch lift kit for 2014–2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 two-wheel-drive trucks, built around a high-clearance crossmember, fabricated blocks, a steel control arm knuckle, and a pair of N3 shocks. Wheels must measure 18 inches or larger. It does not fit Denali or Denali Ultimate trucks with Magnetic Ride Control, or trucks with the eAssist hybrid package.

This 5-inch lift kit for the 2014–2017 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 2WD ships as five packages: the 5-inch kit box, a crossmember box, a steel control arm knuckle, the front-end component set, and an N3 shock pair. Installation calls for cutting and drilling, and the factory front skid plate is reused rather than replaced. Confirm whether your stock control arms are cast aluminum, cast steel, or stamped steel before ordering, and test-fit wheels first: retaining factory wheels calls for a 0.25 inch spacer, part 1065.
