To ensure adequate clearance when lowering the differential models equipped with a mass damper on the front differential must be removed. IMPORTANT! - Installation of larger tires will require Rough Country's Speedometer Calibrator SKU: 90009. Tire and Wheel Details If wider than 295/60R20 tires are used offset wheels will be required and trimming may be required. Please test fit wheels prior to installation. Rough Country 22731 is a 6-inch lift kit for 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD, plus the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD 4WD. The kit ships with a crossmember box, front components, an aluminum control arm knuckle, and an N3 shock pair. It does not fit Denali or Denali Ultimate models with Magnetic Ride Control, or trucks with the eAssist (ECO Hybrid) package.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD (and the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD) works with factory 20-inch wheels and uses a high-clearance crossmember plus fabricated blocks at the rear. Before ordering, identify whether your stock control arms are cast aluminum, cast steel, or stamped steel. Installation calls for cutting and drilling, and any front-differential mass damper has to come off to clear the lowered differential. Larger tires call for the separate speedometer calibrator, part 90009. A downloadable Rough Country installation guide is available.
