Rough Country 27240 is a 6-inch lift kit for 1999–2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD trucks, including HD and Classic applications. The kit ships with two M1 monotube shock pairs, knuckles, a crossmember kit, and the bracket hardware. Frame bracket and differential modification are part of the job, and 1999 old body style trucks are not covered.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 1999–2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD keeps the torsion bars in their factory location, so stock alignment and axle geometry carry over. Coverage extends across Silverado 1500 HD, Sierra 1500 HD, and the 2007 Classic bodies shown in the fitment section, plus Chevrolet K1500. Plan on modifying the frame bracket and differential; trucks with factory-painted bumpers also need the valance and bumper trimmed.
