6-Inch Lift Kit with V2 Shocks, fitment-checked
Rough Country 29770 is a 6-inch lift kit for 4WD Chevy Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD trucks, built around CNC-machined one-piece cast knuckles, a crossmember and torsion drop package, an integrated skid plate, and two V2 monotube shock pairs. Plan on light modification to the front differential, and a torsion bar unloading tool is needed to complete the job.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4WD (plus the 2001-2004 Silverado 2500 and Sierra 2500 and the 2007 HD Classic trucks listed in the fitment section) clears tires up to 35x12.50, though that size can call for trimming the front valance. If you are replacing factory 17-inch wheels, the new wheels must be 17 inches or larger. Gas-engine trucks may need an exhaust reroute for front driveshaft clearance. A downloadable Rough Country installation guide is available. Read it through before you start.
