Rough Country's bumper was designed to accommodate Rough Country's Pro Series winches. Use of stinger bar may interfere with adaptive cruise control/lane departure sensors. Drilling Required. Trimming of factory plastic bumper required. Must use Rough Country Hawse Fairlead. Fitment on this page is based on the manufacturer’s application data.
Front Bumper with 12000-lb Winch, fitment-checked
The higher winch rating on the standard-height Tacoma bumper: a 12000-lb Pro Series winch on synthetic rope. Same bumper and same boxed weight as the 9500-lb version, so the pull rating is the whole of the decision.
Where the sibling configuration carries the 9500-lb winch, this one carries the 12000-lb Pro Series on synthetic rope. The bumper underneath is identical (standard-height pre-runner, pre-installed winch plate, forged D-ring pair, skid plate and small stinger kit) and the boxed weight is the same 181.6 lb, so the choice comes down to pull rating and nothing else. No light bar is supplied in this configuration. As across the range, the fit requires trimming the factory plastic bumper and drilling, and the stinger bar can interfere with adaptive cruise.
