Rough Country 721.20 is a 2-inch front, 4-inch rear lowering kit for 2007-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD trucks. It uses lowering spindles up front and a rear hanger-bracket and axle-saddle package out back, with rear drop adjustable to 4.5 inches. Cast steel control arms, wheels of 17 inches or larger, a rear axle flip, and minor cutting and drilling are all required.
This 2-inch front and 4-inch rear lowering kit for the 2007-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD covers WT through High Country and SL through SLT trims, with additional applications listed in the fitment table. Front drop comes from lowering spindles; the rear uses spring hanger brackets, axle saddles, U-bolt plates, U-bolts, and hardware, and can be set between 4 and 4.5 inches. The truck can be aligned back to factory specification afterward and returned to stock height later. Rough Country lists 4-6 hours for the job, and a downloadable installation guide is available.
