The Comanche is the interesting inclusion here — a pickup that shares its front suspension with the Cherokee, which is why one shock covers both. The body is a 2 in. seamless extruded tube, larger than the strut-style dampers these Jeeps often wear by the time they need replacing, and inside it a 46mm digressive piston does the work. Digressive valving firms up early and then eases off, which controls body movement without making every expansion joint felt. Rebound and compression are independent and self-adjusting. The rod is 18mm and centerless ground. Install is quoted at 1-2 hours; 11.59 lb boxed.
