N3 rear shocks for the Ram 3500 4WD, covering 2011-2025 and the earlier Dodge Ram 3500 4WD from 2003-2010. The N3 damper runs 10-Stage Variable Valving over a 35mm piston, which is what lets one shock behave on pavement and still control a heavy rear end over broken ground. Sold as a pair, for models with 0-6 of suspension lift.
A one-ton rear end is the hardest thing on a truck to damp well, because the load swings between empty and at capacity. The N3 answers that with 10-Stage Variable Valving, which changes damping rate with shaft speed instead of picking one compromise, and a 35mm piston to move the oil. High-pressure nitrogen charging keeps the fluid from aerating on a long washboard road, which is where lesser dampers give up and fade. Sold as a pair, with a 3 Year Limited Warranty.
