This N3 rear shock pair for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee covers 4WD and RWD applications across Base, Laredo, Limited, Sport, Pioneer, Chief, Classic, Country, Briarwood, and SE trims. The one hard qualifier: your Cherokee must already sit on 6.5-7 inches of suspension lift — stock or lower-lift rigs need a different shock. Each N3 damper uses 10-stage variable valving, a 35mm piston in a 54mm body, and an 18mm chromed rod, with nitrogen charging to limit fade on long washboard runs.
