This N3 rear shock pair for the 1983-1997 Ford Ranger RWD applies to Base, XL, XLT, STX, Splash, Sport and the other RWD submodels listed in the fitment section, but only on trucks carrying 2-2.5 in of suspension lift. Each shock runs 10-stage variable valving over a 35mm piston in a 54mm body, with a chromed 18mm rod, nitrogen charge, spring-loaded rod seal and fluid rated for use down to -40 degrees Celsius. Rubber bushings handle vibration. Rough Country lists 1-2 hours for the job. Shipping weight: 11.3 lb.
