Rough Country 90006 is a plug-in speedometer calibrator for 2004–2014 Ford F-150 models, including the 2004 F-150 Heritage, in 4WD, AWD, and RWD form. It corrects speedometer readings after a larger tire swap, adjusts factory ECM shift points and electronic stability control for the new tire size, and reads stored diagnostic codes such as a check engine light. It is not for sale or use in California.
This speedometer calibrator for the 2004–2014 Ford F-150 covers listed submodels from XL and XLT up through King Ranch, Platinum, Harley-Davidson Edition, and Limited, plus the 2004 F-150 Heritage. The handheld unit plugs into the vehicle, rewrites the speedometer for larger tires, and can be reversed to stock settings later. It runs as a standalone tool and will not work alongside a performance programmer. One vehicle at a time: the unit locks to the truck it programs until that truck is returned to stock. A downloadable installation guide is available, and Rough Country lists a programming time of 5-10 minutes.
