Rough Country 90047 recalibrates the factory speedometer after a larger-tire swap on compatible 2019–2023 Ram 1500, 1500 Classic, 2500, and 3500 trucks in 4WD or RWD. It works on gas and diesel trucks, adjusts factory ECM shift points and stability-control input for the new tire size, and can be set back to stock values later. It is a standalone tool and will not work alongside a performance programmer.
This speedometer calibrator for the 2019–2023 Ram 1500, 1500 Classic, 2500, and 3500 plugs into the truck and corrects indicated speed to match oversized tires, with no tools needed for the connection. Read the qualifiers first: it does not fit 2020 and newer trucks equipped with parking assist, and it does not fit trucks with a digital instrument cluster. It is not sold or used in California. One unit programs one vehicle — after programming it locks to that truck. Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours, and a downloadable installation guide is available.
