Nitrogen-charged Nitro 8000 damping, the fifth option against this identical Silverado fitment. Charging the oil under nitrogen pressure holds foaming off without the cost of an external reservoir. Fits models with the rear mono-leaf spring only. Adaptive Ride Control models do not fit, and neither do RWD models on 16 in. wheels.
Nitrogen charging pressurises the oil so it resists foaming as the shock heats, which puts the Nitro 8000 between the plain hydraulic and the monotube options in behaviour. Since every kit in this family shares the same 3.5 in. lift and the same structural parts, the damper is the entire decision. The fitment conditions are common too: rear mono-leaf spring only, Adaptive Ride Control excluded, and RWD models on 16 in. wheels excluded. Coverage is the 2019-2023 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 including Denali and Denali Ultimate. 53.2 lb boxed.
