The longer of the two Nitro JK shocks at 25.35 in. extended and 15.05 in. collapsed, starting its band at 2 in. rather than 1. Both 4WD and RWD Wranglers are covered.

Two Nitro part numbers cover the JK at overlapping heights, and the difference is where each band begins and how long the body is. This one runs 25.35 in. extended and 15.05 in. collapsed with a 2-3.5 in. band, where the shorter Nitro starts at 1 in. If your Jeep sits at the bottom of that overlap, the shorter unit is the safer choice. Coverage is the 2007-2017 Wrangler in 4WD and RWD and the 2018 Wrangler JK in Sport, Sahara and Rubicon.
