Rough Country 8593 is a 2-inch leveling kit for 2001-2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 HD, 2500, and 2500 HD trucks in both 4WD and RWD. The forged keys replace the factory torsion bar keys and are indexed so the adjustment stays inside the range OE components expect. This is the FK/FF RPO code version — verify the code in your glovebox, and note that a torsion bar unloading tool (Rough Country 1067) is needed for the job.

Torsion bar suspensions level by re-indexing the keys rather than stacking a spacer, and that is exactly what this kit does across the 2001-2010 Silverado and Sierra HD range, including the 2007 Classic bodies. Forged construction handles the added preload, and the indexing keeps the front end from being cranked past what the factory arms and shocks were built for. No cutting or drilling is involved, though getting the old keys off calls for a torsion bar unloading tool. A downloadable installation guide is available.
