A diesel carries more weight over the front axle, which is why it gets its own part number rather than sharing the gas one. Provides 1.5 of lift. Built on a 2-inch seamless extruded tube with a 46mm digressive piston.
The diesel engine option puts several hundred pounds more over the front axle, and a strut valved for a gas truck sits lower and rides worse under it. These are specified for diesel models only and provide 1.5 of lift. The body is a 2-inch seamless extruded tube, and the 46mm digressive piston holds body control without punishing the ride on pavement. Not compatible with a strut spacer, and it does not fit Denali models.
