Rough Country built these to bolt to the existing mounting points on the 1997-2006 Wrangler 4WD, which keeps the job to hand tools — no cutting, no drilling. The extra 2.25 inches of coverage matters most once you have gone up in tire size, where the stock flare stops catching what the tread throws. The thermoplastic is UV-treated to resist fading, cracking, and warping, and the profile is drawn close to the original equipment shape, so the Jeep still reads factory from a few steps back.
