F-150 leveling kits: closing the factory rake
Ford builds the F-150 nose-down so the rear does not squat under load, and a leveling kit raises the front to meet it. On this truck that is usually 2 to 2.5 inches, delivered by a strut spacer or a taller coil, with nothing added at the rear — enough to clear a larger tire and to make the truck look like it is standing still rather than braking.
What it is not is a suspension lift. Raising the front on a spacer changes ride height without changing spring rate or damping, so the suspension works nearer the end of its travel while the ride stays close to stock. That is a fair trade at this height and a poor one beyond it. Coil spacers and shocks sized for the new height are the usual companions. Tremor and Raptor models are excluded by most kits, and every kit here prints the cabs, drivetrains and packages it covers. That comes to 28 kits.
