They stop axle wrap and wheel hop without binding the suspension. Installation requires drilling. Not for 2007 Classic-body trucks or trucks with the 8-foot bed.
Put power down through a leaf-sprung rear axle and the springs wrap, which shows up as wheel hop off the line and on climbs. These bars tie the axle to the frame to stop that motion while leaving suspension travel alone. Coverage runs 2007-2018 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 4WD, the 2008-2018 Sierra, and the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD, at stock height up to 7.5 inches of lift. A threaded adjustable heim end handles fine tuning and the mounting hardware comes in the box. Drilling is required, 2007 Classic-body trucks and 8-foot beds are excluded, and a downloadable installation guide is available.
