A Slip Yoke Eliminator with CV Driveshaft is recommended to avoid driveline vibration. Rubicon models do NOT need a SYE kit or transfer case drop but a CV driveshaft is still recommended. A long arm upgrade kit for the 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler in 4WD, built around X-Flex adjustable control arms with Clevite OEM-style rubber bushings and greasable flex joints. The front and rear sets bring mounting brackets, a track bar drop bracket, a Rubicon compressor bracket, and hardware. It does not fit Unlimited models, and the exhaust has to be cut and rerouted clear of the new components.
This is the deep end of Wrangler suspension work: replacing the short factory arms with high-clearance long arms on 1997–2006 4WD models. The joints do the talking — 2.5-inch bodies on 1.25-inch threads, greasable, with upper pivots moving up to 20 degrees and lowers up to 35. Plan the install carefully. Unlimited models are excluded, the exhaust has to be cut and rerouted away from moving parts, and a slip yoke eliminator with CV driveshaft is recommended; Rubicon models skip the SYE and transfer case drop but still want the CV shaft.
