Wrangler control arms and track bars: fixing geometry
These are the parts that decide whether a lifted Wrangler drives well or merely stands tall. Raising a solid axle moves it. The track bar holds the axle centered under the Jeep, and a taller ride height leaves the factory one pulling it sideways; the control arms set the angle the axle sits at and how it moves through its travel.
Past about 3.5 inches neither is optional. An adjustable track bar brings the axle back to the middle, adjustable control arms restore the pinion angle so the driveshaft is not asking for trouble, and caster comes back with them, which is what returns the steering to center on its own. Fixed-length arms are enough at modest heights. Every part here names the years, the axle and the lift range it suits. That is 59 parts in all.
