About this part
Rear Track Bar, fitment-checked
Where the front bar centers the front axle, part 1180 does the same job at the rear of a 2007–2017 Jeep Wrangler lifted 2.5 to 6in. Solid forged steel, 1.25in across, OEM-style rubber bushings, and adjustable while it is still bolted in place.
Rear axle centering is the quiet half of a lift. Once the Jeep sits higher, the stock bar holds the axle slightly to one side, and the tire gap tells on it. This bar threads to length on the vehicle, so the axle can be squared without pulling it back out. Fitment covers 4WD and RWD Wrangler trims from Sport through Rubicon across 2007–2017, including the Unlimited and anniversary variants. Budget 1-2 hours with hand tools, and the downloadable Rough Country installation guide covers the procedure.
