Rough Country 48030 is a 4-inch lift kit for the 1983–1997 Ford Ranger 4WD, built around lifted coil springs, 3-inch rear leaf springs, drop brackets, a power steering pitman arm, and two N3 shock pairs. It does not fit trucks with manual steering, and it does not fit 87-88 trucks carrying the "High Rider STX" package.

This 4-inch lift kit for the 1983–1997 Ford Ranger 4WD ships with lifted coil springs, radius arm and I-beam drop brackets, a power steering pitman arm, 3-inch rear leaf springs, U-bolts, hardware, and two N3 shock pairs. The radius arm drop brackets let you set caster back where the factory geometry wants it, which is what keeps steering feel predictable afterward. Check the steering and package exclusions before ordering, and note that drop brackets are the recommended route on trucks with a front sway-bar.
